Gotcha looking quickly, didn't I! OK, I really and truly think that my friend (I'll call her Susan!) is a genius without even knowing it! The week before Christmas, I sent out an email for a POST-Christmas dinner with some of my mom friends. That would have been last night, December 28th. Well, Alex, mother of a 5 year old, 2 year old and a newborn, went on the 21st! She sat at the bar and had a beer, waiting for all of us to get there, and then it finally dawned on her that it was POST-Christmas group therapy that we were getting together for, not PRE-Christmas! She had a good laugh at herself but stayed and enjoyed her quiet time before she went home to finish the evening with her kids! And THEN she got to go out AGAIN last night! "Woo hoo!" as she would say! I think it's a brilliant plan that we should all try at least once!
I totally always think Alex is a genious and I also want to put in a vote for monthly, not bi-monthly get -togethers for MNO as I am going crazy here and you gals are less expensive than therapy and are more fun!
