I promise to finish blogging about Hundred Dollar Holiday! I just haven't had the time to really sit down and collect my thoughts--and re-read the last part of it! So these fun ideas in the Hundred Dollar Holiday groove will have to do for now! (But I DO promise to post one last HDH post before the end of the week!)
Today I received an email from Earth911.com with several cool ideas for holiday gifts. Those of you who know me know that I am NOT a crafty gal, but I loved several of these ideas, especially the felted acorn ornaments. These ideas came from two really interesting-looking websites: Mother Nature Network and Crafting a Green World.
The acorn ornaments remind me of another super cute acorn gift idea I saw at a foothill home companion, one of my favorite blogs (from another local mama!) She is a totally down-to-earth, crafty, home-schooling wonder! Check her out! I read her blog and just drool--whether it's something crafty she made, something delicious that she cooked, or just her beautiful photography, it always transports me out of my own world for a few minutes!
Also got an email from Kiwi Magazine with more cool craft ideas: lip balm and soy candles. Now one of these I might actually try!
Maybe this will inspire you (or me!) to do something crafty this weekend!

I'm so glad that you are using that website and loving it! That's why I blog about these things! How were those sandwiches???

Positively love Kiwi magazine's website. Dug out my cookie cutters for our sandwiches. LOVE IT!
